Why is my book stuck?

Most books finish generating in about 10 minutes. If yours has been stuck for 30+ minutes or the page shows an error, the first generation likely failed. In most cases we automatically start a fresh attempt, and the completed book usually appears in Your Library a few minutes later.

Before you contact us, try this quick check:

1. Open Your Library in a new tab and look for your book. If a recent copy is there and readable, that's your finished book. Open it from Your Library, since the creating page can stay on the failed attempt even after the retry succeeds.
2. If Your Library shows no completed copy and the book is still marked as a draft or "creating" after more than 30 minutes, the job is stuck. Closing the tab during generation does not interrupt it, so that part is fine. A stalled job still needs a manual restart from our side.

What to do if it's truly stuck. Contact us with the URL of the creating page (or your book page in Your Library) and the email you used to pay. A screenshot of what you're seeing also helps. We'll re-run the generation at no extra charge and send you a direct link as soon as it's ready.

You won't be double-charged — paid books stay paid, whether we restart them once or 10 times.
