Do you support fiction or novels?

No. TailoredRead creates nonfiction books only — novels, short stories, and other fictional narratives aren't something we'll produce well, even if the questionnaire lets you enter a fictional subject. The AI is tuned for explanatory teaching: chapters that walk you through how something works, not plots, characters, or scenes.

If you describe a fiction project in the Subject field, the review step often flags it as out of scope. If a book does get through, the output reads as a report about the genre rather than a proper story.

For fiction, an AI writing tool built for narrative (or, more often, a human author) will serve you far better. If you want a nonfiction book about fictional worlds, that's fair game — think the history of detective novels or a craft guide to writing thrillers. Browse our supported subjects for what's in scope.
