How do I delete a book or draft?

Drafts have a delete button in Your Library. Purchased books don't.

Deleting a draft

  1. Open Your Library and go to the Unfinished Drafts tab.
  2. Hover over the draft card (on mobile, tap the card) to reveal the ⋮ button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select the ⋮ menu, then select Delete.
  4. Confirm in the Delete this draft? dialog. The draft is removed right away.

A few things to know:

  • Delete is final. There's no undo, and a deleted draft won't appear anywhere in Your Library.
  • A draft that already has a purchased book attached can't be deleted; the book stays, and the draft goes with it.
  • A draft currently generating a book can't be deleted until generation finishes or fails.

Deleting a purchased book

Purchased books don't have a delete button — we leave it out on purpose so a click can't destroy a paid book. If you want one hidden or fully removed from your account, contact us with the book URL and we'll handle it.
