A personal book costs $2 - $20 and is a one-time charge, no subscription, no hidden fees. The price you see on the Review step is what you'll pay at checkout; any discount is already applied, with no code to enter.

The exact number depends on the length you choose and the content itself. You see the final price on the Review step after the questionnaire, before you pay.

Why the price changes as you edit your draft

Editing any field on your draft (subject, topics, goals, or length) updates the book draft, table of contents, and price to match. If they don't update right away, press the Refresh icon in the top-right corner of the Review step to force a refresh. The price shown on the Review step before checkout is what you'll pay.
