What do you do with my data?

Your questionnaire answers, your drafts, and your finished books stay private to your TailoredRead account. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI.

Do other readers see my data?

No. Your questionnaire answers and the full text of your book stay private. Nobody else can read your book.

If you set your book's Visibility to Public with Credit or Public and Anonymous, a short public sample appears on the Explore Books page — only the cover, table of contents, and Introduction chapter. Nothing else (your questionnaire answers, the rest of the chapters) is shared. You can change visibility any time from the book's ⋮ menu. See book visibility.

Do you use my inputs to train your AI?

No. Your subject, goals, topics, and other questionnaire answers are used to generate your book, not to train the AI. Our AI provider's API terms keep your info, inputs, and the book out of model training. For the AI-specific details, see What AI models do you use?.

Is my credit card information safe?

Yes. Payment runs through Stripe, a leading payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's checkout and stay with Stripe, not TailoredRead. We never see or store your full card number, only the last 4 digits and card brand that appear on your receipt.
