TailoredRead offers four book licenses: Personal, Educational, Commercial, and Author. Each one is a one-time purchase that applies to a single book.

- Personal ($2-20, varies by length): read online or download as PDF. You and up to 5 household members can read it. No editing, no public sharing.
- Educational ($24.99): share the book with students or a class for free. No editing, no selling.
- Commercial ($39.99): download as Word (.docx), edit it, and share it publicly for free. No selling.
- Author ($49.99): edit the book in Word or Google Docs, then distribute or sell it under your own name. Includes the right to publish on Amazon KDP, Gumroad, or anywhere else.
When you publish under the Author license (for example on Amazon KDP), you hold the copyright and keep 100% of the royalties. We don't claim either, and we don't take a cut from platforms you publish on. Amazon asks you to disclose AI-assisted content on the KDP content declaration page when you upload; select the AI-generated option and you're fine.
