Can I edit my book inside TailoredRead?

No. Editing happens outside TailoredRead. With the Author or Commercial license, you download your book as a Word document (.docx) and edit it in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. There's no in-app editor.

To edit your book:

1. Go to Your Library and open the book.
2. Select the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
3. Select Download Word Document.
4. Open the .docx file in Word or Google Docs.

Anything you want to change (the title, the author name on the title page, the cover page, the credits page, formatting, or the content itself) is done in the .docx file after you download it.

Don't convert the PDF to Word. PDF-to-Word conversion routinely breaks formatting, headings, and text flow. Always edit from the .docx — that's what the license gives you.

Once you've downloaded the .docx, you don't need to come back to TailoredRead to finalize the book — the file is yours to work on.
