What is TailoredRead?

TailoredRead helps you learn faster with AI-crafted nonfiction books tailored to your goals, interests, and background. You answer a short questionnaire, review a full preview with the title and table of contents, pay once, and get a book back in about 10 minutes.

How your book is tailored to you

Your book is generated fresh from the answers you give in the questionnaire: subject, goals, topics, occupation, education, and how familiar you are with the subject. Two readers who pick the same subject get different books. Chapters, depth, examples, and pacing all shift around what you already know and what you want to get out of the book. The book doesn't exist until you create it.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Google or an email link.
  2. Answer a short questionnaire: subject, occupation, education, familiarity, goals, and topics.
  3. Pick a length and license, then review the generated title, description, and full table of contents at the Review step.
  4. Pay through Stripe.
  5. Read your book in the online reader, download it as a PDF or Word document, or send it to Kindle.

What to know before you start

  • Price: $2 - $20 for the Personal License, depending on length and content. Other licenses are priced higher. One-time purchase, no subscription. See pricing.
  • Speed: books generate in about 10 minutes. You can start reading as soon as the Introduction is ready.
  • Delivery: your books live in Your Library. Read online, download a PDF or Word document, or send to Kindle.
  • Digital only. TailoredRead books are ebooks. We don't print or ship physical copies.
  • Text-only pages with a custom cover. Every book has a unique AI-generated cover; inside pages have no photos, charts, or diagrams. See Do the books include photos or illustrations?.
  • Nonfiction only. Fiction, novels, and story-driven narratives aren't supported. See Do you support fiction?.
  • English only. See Which languages are supported?.
  • Not a publishing service. The Author License lets you publish the book yourself on Amazon KDP, Gumroad, or your own site. TailoredRead doesn't distribute or print.

Licenses

Each book comes with a license matched to how you plan to use it:

  • Personal. Read it yourself.
  • Educational. Share for free with students or a class.
  • Commercial. Edit the Word file and share publicly for free — a common fit for lead magnets or internal resources.
  • Author. Full rights, including editing, rebranding, and selling under your own name.
